Charter President Archana Goenka's Farewell Note

"IWCBB was born out of a chance get together of fun loving women, who were also willing to invest their time and passion for doing community work. This was spearheaded by an equally dynamic Rotary President Mr Samir Javeri whose successful tenure I emulated to give this club the footing it required.

We were formerly installed on the 6th of November 2012 with a record number of 50 members at an installation attended by the entire district team headed by District Chairman Shubha Chhapwale, which was an achievement in itself. A very committed team and enthusiastic members were the "WIND BENEATH MY WINGS", that helped the club soar to great heights in its inception year, especially so as we did it without having any headstart to plan the year.

Special mention for Club secretary Sonal Punatar's selfless service, along with the hard work, team spirit and perseverance of all lead the club to "THINK AHEAD AND AIM HIGH", the district theme and our guiding beacon through the year."
