It is an absolute honor and a privilege to accept the role of the President of our Club,The Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Bayview. First and foremost, I want to express gratitude for the trust and support you've shown me. Inner Wheel is built on the foundation of friendship, service and women empowerment and I am thrilled to embark on this journey with all of you.
The Vision of InnerWheel is to foster stronger connections and embrace sustainability in our initiatives and create a lasting impact in our community. With the belief that together we can turn aspirations into achievements and challenges into opportunities. With each member bringing unique strength, I am Confident that our collective efforts will make this year truly memorable and an impactful year. I am truly looking forward to working alongside such inspiring individuals and making a difference together!

Message from our District Chairman
LAKSHMI SINGH
Lakshmi Singh lives with deep gratitude, drawing strength and grace from her belief that life is truly blessed. Her dedication, teamwork, and positive “never say no” attitude define her work, while her warmth and enthusiasm inspire everyone around her. Her passion for service found expression in Inner Wheel, which she joined in 2005, becoming a driving force through her leadership as President of IWC Bombay North Island and Charter President of IWC Mumbai Khar.
Within Inner Wheel District 314, she excelled as Editor, ISO, Treasurer, and Secretary, leading impactful initiatives, including the career counselling project Lakshya. As District Chairman, she champions “Shakti – The Inner Strength,” promoting women’s empowerment and growth.
A Chartered Accountant and lawyer, Lakshmi founded AK Legal Partners, a successful real estate law firm. Guided by her motto, “Be the Rainbow in Someone’s Cloud,” her journey reflects resilience, leadership, and meaningful service that uplifts society.
About Inner Wheel Club of Bombay Bayview
Inner Wheel (IW) is the largest women's voluntary service organization in the world, and India has the largest number of Inner Wheel members. The objectives of Inner Wheel Clubs are threefold: to promote true friendship, to encourage the ideals of personal service and to foster a global worldview through international understanding and cultural exchange.
Part of District 314, our IW Club of Bombay Bayview (IWC) was installed on 6th November 2011, with a strength of 50 members, by the then District Chairman Shubhalaxmi Chappwale. We were chartered on 25th January 2012 and received it on 31st March 2012 from PIIW Chairman Dr Pallavi Shah.
For the year 2025–26, the inspiring theme “Beyond Onwards & Upwards” reflects a powerful vision of growth, purpose, and meaningful transformation. With the guiding belief that “Beyond is not just a theme — it is a mindset,” members are encouraged to extend their efforts with empathy, innovation, and dedication. The theme calls upon individuals to move beyond limitations, embrace new possibilities, and create lasting impact through purposeful action and collective strength.
It emphasizes bringing ideas to life by reaching underserved communities, supporting marginalized groups, and uplifting individuals through compassionate service. With a shared commitment to progress, members strive to expand their impact and work towards true, sustainable change — together moving onwards and upwards.
