The installation of President Ritu Kabra took place at Rendezvous, The Taj Mahal Hotel. It was a high tea event. District Associate Chairman Vasudhaa Chandrachud was the Chief Guest.
We had our OCV on 8th August 2019 at BCA Garware Club. The event was attended by District Chairman Dr Devangi Vakharia. We receieved lot of appreciation and kind words from the DC.
We had a dandiya fellowship to celebrate the festive season. The fellowship was a joint fellowship with our Rotary Club. We had wonderful performances by our members and there was enthusiastic dance, food and joy.
We had a great Karva Chauth themed fellowship with spouses, with a great total attendance of 63 persons, including spouses. "Taste of Punjab" was the perfect venue. All the members looked beautiful in their traditional finery.
The perfect photo booth organized by Anchal with chunni and channi was a big hit. Girls took pictures while gazing at their spouses through the channi. The chudiwala was busy decorating the women's wrists with colorful bangles while Mehendi made the hands prettier.
Archana organized a fun couples game which had couples cheating in an attempt to win. The gidda and dj had the dance floor rocking. The highlight was the sargi which was beautifully put together by Aditi and Sonia and beautifully decorated by Chaitali.
Thank you Archana, Nimisha, Chaitali, Aditi, Anchal and a special shout out to Sonia for a fantastic event organized to perfection.
Our club participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of District 314 and I am happy to say that our participants, Chaitali Saraiya and Ruchita Chheda, won prizes in the dance.
We had the second season of our flagship event, a quiz competition titled INQUIZITIVE, on 4th December 2019.tion. All the clubs from district 314 were invited to participate and we gave away cash prizes of Rs 35000/-.
The unique thing about this quiz competition is that the cash prizes are to be used by the winning club towards a project of their choice. In this way we become contributers to society and help clubs to do good work, while having a fun fellowship at the same time!
Our quiz master Dr Tushar is an accomplished stand up comedien and a Doctor. 26 clubs participated in the competition which was very well organized by the Inquizitive team.
The entire show was very well received and well attended by district dignitaries including DC Dr Devangi Vakharia.

2nd prize - Inner Wheel club of Kalina Rs 10000/-
3rd prize - Inner Wheel club of Borivali Rs 7500/-
4th prize - Inner Wheel club of Kandivali Rs 3000/-
Congratulations to all the winners
Our annual overnighter was to Amritsar, the land of The Golden Temple, Phulkari, Juttis and Kulchas. 25 pretty Inner Wheelers met at Mumbai airport with large empty suitcases to bring back full of shopping!!
The highlights were the visit to the Golden temple, Wagah Border, Pulkanjari village and of course the Food and the Shopping!!
Five Inner Wheel Clubs came together to celebrate Holi. Singing, music and dhamaal had 250 ladies dancing to the tunes of favorite Bollywood numbers. The Housie was a joint fellowship of 5 clubs. This musical housie and holi played with flowers was a super hit event and was the highlight of the year. It was also the last fellowship we could hold in person before the country went into lockdown.
