Introduction of UPI payments

From this year members can pay their dues and make their contributions to the Club using UPI. This will also ease the making of payments for various projects and services.

Moving IWCBB into digital payments is the hallmark, the feather in the cap, of this year's presidency.

22nd February 2023: 8th GBM & Charter Presentation of IWC Chembur Tiara

One more occasion to celebrate. This charter presentation was an opportune event to turn from being the guided to the guide, a massive growth for our 12-year-old club!

Extremely nostalgic for this event took us back to 12 years ago, when we were presented with our Charter (seems like yesterday) and here we are sponsoring a new club.

We presented the charter to the new club, called IWC CHEMBUR TIARA and ts 25 members at The Malabar Hill Club, over Hi Tea, in the presence of the District Executive Committee, Past District Chairmen and Zonal Co-Ordinators. This is the 83rd club in District 314. We are sponsoring it by paying its district dues.

We had members of IWC Chembur Tiara along with the office bearers of IWC Queens Tiara and IWC Bombay Pier Tiara attend our GBM so as to see and learn how a GBM is conducted. Here DC Mita went step by step, explaining each point of the agenda. These clubs went through our books too in order to get an idea about how to maintain the club files and books.

We also presented a cheque of Rs. 21,000/- to IWC Chembur Tiara for their projects. The theme for the event was Bandhini. The Charter Presentation had a beautiful Rajasthani welcome dance and an awesome decor to go with the theme. We had give aways from an aesthetically set up perfume bar. All in all, 2023 has been a year of many firsts for our young Club.

3rd - 5th March 2023: Overnighter @ Udaipur

Friends, Kehtae hain Jab koi cheez dil se chaho toh poori kaynat usse tumse milane mein joot jaati hai. Bas Kuch yahi hua Udaipur mein.
Great friends, and super fun! Every member who came, made it very memorable and we thoroughly enjoyed connecting with each of them. We will always look back at the memories with much happiness. Missed those who couldn't make it.

Kudos to Team Udaipur (Archana, Chaitali, Nimisha, Sarita, Smeeta, Taruna and Sonia) who planned this overnighter so efficiently. The trip started with a bang with all of us in identical T-Shirts sent by the team. Taj Aravali Resort & Spa set new standards of luxury in Udaipur. Our luxury resort in Udaipur was spread over 27 acres, creating an expansive oasis surrounded on all sides.

We had a QR code in place with a link to the drive for everyone to upload their pictures to a central repository, so as to preserve memories of this event. Evening Tea at THE TAJ FATEH PRAKASH at Sunset Terrace and the boat cruise over Lake Pichola gave us mesmerizing panoramic views of picturesque surroundings. The sunsets are surely not to be missed!! Add to this a visit to the JAGMANDIR ISLAND PALACE and it turned out to be a perfectly wonderful evening, which ended with an authentic and sumptuous Rajasthani sit down dinner at Khamma Ghanni.

A colourful morning with PHOOLON KI HOLI AT TAJ ARAVALI .. Everyone looked so pretty in whites with leheriya and the phoolon ka gehna given to them. Complete with beautiful decor, flowers, food, dhol, games, water pichkaris -- it was a memorable morning with the hospitality of TAJ ARAVALI which was truly over the top.

An evening touring the exquisite TAJ LAKE PALACE on Lake Pichola was stunningly beautiful, a true embodiment of luxury and grandeur, simply breathtaking. Beautiful location, superb ambience, amazing hospitality and an out of the world, specially curated English HI-TEA made us all feel like royalty, making it an unforgettable experience. All is all, an amazingly wonderful and memorable overnighter yet again!
