22th July 2023: Installation & First GBM

I am thrilled to share that our first GBM and Installation event for this year's fellowships turned out to be a resounding success! It was an incredible day, and the rain gods seemed to be on our side, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable event. Thackers Banquets provided a wonderful venue, but the real star of the afternoon was the delicious spread of food that everyone loved.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Installation Team, who worked tirelessly to meticulously plan every aspect of the event. Even though Mitali Maniar couldn't attend the meetings personally, her guidance and support were invaluable throughout the entire event planning process. VP Tejal Damani, your all-rounded help made a significant difference.

The Master of Ceremonies, Mona Babla, did an amazing job, and her personal touch on the script added an extra layer of charm to the event. I must mention ExComm Members Vinita Maroo and Meghna Sanghvi, whose script and introduction of the team kept everyone entertained and engaged.

The decor, beautifully executed by ExComm Members Sarita Malhotra and Meghna, was exactly what I had envisioned – simple and elegant. A special shout-out to IPP Sonia Gupta, IPDC Mita Sheth, and VP Tejal for skillfully handling the District Dignitaries.

A big thank you to all the volunteers, especially Sejal Shah and District Coordinator Grishma Doshi, for taking care of the food arrangements. ExComm Member Renu Parikh and Reepa Jasani did a fantastic job with the dais, while Tejal Desai, Mansi Kothari, Sadhana Sheth, and Anuja Shah ensured a seamless registration process.

I am grateful to Purvi Patwa for efficiently managing the collection of dues and to Manisha Shah, Charu Shah, and Rajni Barasia for handling project registrations.

Last but certainly not least, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the members who attended the event. Your presence and support were crucial in making the GBM and Installation a resounding success. Without each and every one of you, this event would not have been possible.

I'm so proud of our team's hard work and dedication, and I'm truly honored to be part of such a fantastic group. Here's to many more successful and fulfilling events in the future!

After the Installation we have 9 other GBMs, one overnighter and one joint feelowship.

Our OCV was followed the Installation. It was an OCV with a twist as the President attended virtually as she was down with Dengue. It went off very well with a Dance performance and lovely talk on Raksha Bandhan by a member. DC Pallavi Choksi was happy with the work done by our club.

There after we went off to Goa for an Overnighter…what happened in Goa, stays in Goa!

In September we had our GBM and this was followed by a CHATGPT workshop. It was conducted by our member Poonam Mashru.

This was followed by a Beerfest GBM and Fellowship with Husbands.

We had a sip and paint Christmas themed ECM, GBM and Fellowship in December.

This was followed by a movie night with husbands. Our member, CC Puja Parikh worked on Fighter and we all went to see the movie. It was a lovely evening..

March GBM followed by a retro afternoon with lovely music and dancing.

April there was Fer Factor Joint Fellowship with Inner Wheel Club of Hanging Garden and Inner Wheel Club of Nariman Point. This was followed by a zoom GBM.

The year was ended with the AGM with scrumptious food.
